Yeah - a lot of people start with 5' or 6', then get a 7' hose. Hose shortening is generally something divers don't do themselves. www.blackart.com.au has the 7' hose for $50 AUD - I dunno how David gets his hoses so cheap, I priced hoses here in Melbourne with a hose manufacturer and they wanted $46 wholesale! Was kind of pointless outlaying a couple of grand to make a hundred bucks, so I don't carry them myself (yet).

You might want to change your signature to "my_spacebar_doesn't_work" or something :D
