Once I switched to the FFM it's hard going back to the RFM and RRS. The FFM is nothing short of awesome. With more FFM hitting the market there should be MT for SR. BTJM.

SeaJay once bubbled...
Very cool...

So:

He does have a bailout system.

His reg fails open, and is bypassable.

His gear is user-servicable, even in the middle of a dive.

He IS wearing a BC - it's really that unobtrusive.

Pretty impressive. :)

I think I would very much enjoy getting spoiled. :)

Does this guy have a light? Can he actively manipulate his gas supply? (As in, can he get to his valves and all?)

What's the likelihood of tearing up an umbilical when doing a wreck penetration?

Is it possible to do a 250' dive while tethered to the surface with an umbilical? Isn't it a pain? What about if there's heavy current? Doesn't the umbilical cause problems in heavy current?

Not trying to start a war here... I'm seriously interested.

One of my best friends is a commercial diver out in the Gulf off of a rig. He's consistantly in current at depths of about 180 - 190 ft. He doesn't have problems at all because they simply over weight themselves. He's on a umbilical the whole time.

I know I cant go back.

As a person who is into meditation on a regular basis - I find that if I get into a situation where I get too nervous on a dive, I can then perform cyclyical breathing through the nose and mouth and I can instantly calm down and slow breathing. The psychological affect is very powerful and cant be done with a regular mask.:rainbow:

I'm on the market for a new mask and would like one with some decent field of view, as I am into photography, but at the same time plan on doing a DIRF course. The visulator caught my attention just recently.
