at any rate, i did go diving in Manila BAY and WE DID EXPLORE IT
and i tell you it needs a stable mind to be able to explore the bottom of manila bay .
DIVE OBJECTIVE : SEARCH AND RECOVERY OF the ILL fated FLIGHT that crashed in Manila bay a few years back :
DIVE BUDDIES : Doc Eric was there as well. navy guys with just a tank, no BC and no octo (no need for octo here)
MANILA BAY BOTTOM :
SILT ! nothing but silt
as soon as you start to descend the water is very murky
top 3 meters : green algae
from 3m down it gets brown to milky white
at the last 0.75 meters the water column gets to be VERY CLEAR !
the mid water is so murky that you could barely see your hand infront of you
the bottom 0.7m is crystal clear. however any stirirng up of the silt would churn up detritus of all sorts.
so yes i am a MANILA BAY UNDERWATER EXPLORER to help in the search and recovery of the ill fated flight. and not just proseletyzing an idea.... and imposing my will on others see it in the same light then get so irritated ..... they care too much...
a panicky diver is not one of the qualifications for Manila Bay Underwater Exploration, and here it would be SO unwise if you loose your reg while at the bottom and forget that you got a spare octo around your neck.... imagine the muck that would enter your ....... how about a55?

AM PROUD TO BE FILIPINO (no choice i think) , and it was the Flag day the other day and not much activity there. had it been in Singapore the entire country would be flying the colors !!! Yup Lee Kwan Yew did a very good job in his country ! a True Patriot ! knows his roots.
