I wonder why GUE's standards don't address this in their gear section.
According to their standards, my wing is fine.

Wing size and shape should be appropriate to the cylinder sizes(s) employed for training.

EDIT: Obviously tank size is not the only think that affects wing selection. You have fresh/salt water, # and type of stages/deco bottles, and exposure protection to take into account too.

since GUE DIR doesn't use steel stages, and they are ditchable anyway, they don't play much role in wing size

Are you trying to consider them somehow?
