Dive the Escapade (Monterey, CA)! We've got a few last minute cancellations and that means open spots tomorrow on the Escapade.

It's a DIR charter...so bring out your gear and your willingness to have fun! PM me if you can go!

How'd it go. I'm assuming the charter was today?

Our guys dove the proposed site in the bay for sinking our ship for California Ships 2 Reefs. Did you guys get out of the bay?

We wound up on Ballbuster for dive one, and Anchors 2&3 for dive two.

Ballbuster was extremely nice. Zero current, almost nil surge, 50' of visibility on the bottom. We did a 30 minute bottom time on 25/25, and scootered the snot out of the site. We found a Pacific Electric Ray as well. We surfaced among approximately 1,000+ jellies.

Anchors 2&3 were in 10' of visibility under a 30' thick red tide. We circled the site several times and then set out in a random direction to see what else was there. We stumbled on a market squid and scootered with it for a while.

Overall, worth it to get out and dive.

Cool Ballbuster is small enough to do scooter races around!

I like it, 10' of viz and having a great time!
