I don't know. Cameras seem to be pretty scarry to fish... maybe they think they're giant eyes. I agree though... it's the approach that makes it fun.

I think you're right. Whether pointing a speargun or camera or just looking at fish...it seems to scare them or at least put them on red alert. They know the "hunter look" from, I guess, being within striking distance of the major predators at any time.
