Can any one tell me where I can find a replacement dip tube brass or steel for an old US divers tank valve. The orginal one was plastic and must be replaced?

Welcome to Scuba Board!! Sorry, can't help you there, but I'm sure there are people here who both can, that are more than willing, to help you. If you have any questions feel free to PM me. See you around the board!!

Your local dive shop should have them.

You've got an ancient valve that seemingly hasn't been maintained and new valves are reasonably cheap. If you haven't had your valve serviced recently (cleaned, o-rings, washers and seats replaced, etc.), for the cost of an overhaul and replacement dip tube you might be paying for most of a new one.

Howdy!

Welcome to SB!!

Welcome to ScubaBoard! :happywave

It sounds like you're already getting answers to your question. The question is beyond my level of knowledge, but I still wanted to welcome you to our board.

Dive safe!

Christian

P.S. Due to the high volume of new posts in the Introductions and Greets forum, it's not always possible to keep up with all the new posts here. So, please help me out and send me a PM if you post anything you want me to read or repsond to in this forum.

Welcome to the board! Try your local dive shop, they should be able to get you one, but if you have not had it maintained, the cost of clean and overhaul will be very similar to buying an entire new one.

Try posting your question on the 'tanks & valves' forum anyway.
