also does anyone know anything about the b2 regulator and tusa computer console?

Yoke is more common I believe, but I prefer the DIN valve. Mainly for the encapsulated o ring and port.

Do a search for DIN vs Yoke, you'll get about 12 threads with exactly that title.

DIN can handle higher pressure and has a smaller profile, more common in Europe as well.
Yoke is more common in the States, handles lower pressures and can theoretically get "knocked off" easier if you happen to bang your tank in an overhead like a cave or a wreck.

Personally, I'm getting DIN, the slight inconvenience is outweighed by plenty of benefits.

Also, one thing to note. You can get an adapter for about $40 that will allow you to put a DIN reg on any Yoke tank, where only some DIN tanks (200BAR - lower pressure) can be adapted to handle Yoke regs. I vote go with DIN.

Edit: Quick search returned these:

And for the second post, look in equipment forums, you'll get a lot more help looking in the specific forum for advice on any piece of equipment, but try searching those as well. The search function kind of sucks sometimes though, unless you do an advanced search it's pretty much worthless.

I went with a DIN regulator and a yoke adapter so that I can use it on any tank. Also, I plan on eventually buying steel tanks and I will be going with DIN tanks. As venturediver mentioned, the encapsulated o-ring has a distinct advantage.

The only downside is that with the adapter attached, the 1st stage extends a good 2 inches further from the tank. This can really be a pain (literally) if you mount the tank too high as it will keep hitting you in the head. On Memorial Day I kept mounting my tank too high and I couldn't look up at too sharp of an angle because my head would hit my tank.

which is better/ more common?
Depends a lot on the type of diving you plan on doing. For just about any recreational diving, yoke will be just fine. Also, unless you own your own tanks, most tank rentals you get will be yoke...especially in tropical locales. However, if you get into cave diving or you dive doubles, you will probably want to go with DIN as that is the most common configuration in those instances.

thank you much guys, hey what about the b2 regulator? and the computer console?

tusa makes good stuff.. which console are you thinking about?

atomic makes excellent regs. the b2 has a good reputation. top notch.

DIN is definitely a more secure connection. Go DIN and buy a DIN to Yoke converter and you can use any tank out there. :D
