I started diving almost twenty years ago. Diving was a casual pursuit for the first 8 or so years, then I reached the high point in my diving activity while living in Southern California for a few years, around a decade ago. When I left there, I left diving behind as well. For 2020, I'm trying to reengage, and make diving a sustainable, long-term hobby. With almost a decade out of the water, and losing my logbook at some point in that period, I'm treating myself as a new diver, and gradually trying to regain my confidence and comfort in the water to take the next steps in my training and growth.
