Apeks XTX50 (first & second) + XTX40 (occy) set for $995AUD ($680USD) > Apeks Regulator XTX50-XTX40 set

or XTX200 / XTX40 (occy) for $1095AUD ($750USD) > Apeks XTX200 Regulator with XTX40 Octopus - JettyDive

???

The only difference between the 50 & 200 is the 1st stage (and some chrome on the 2nd stage), so depends on your preference in the that regard, and whether you're happy to pay the extra $100 for the FSR first stage with the 200.
I went with the XTX200 cos I found a deal which was only a few quid more than the 50. I also prefer the angled ports for hose routing on the FSR, particularly as I have a wireless transmitter. The HP ports are angled down so the transmitter is more out of the way than it would be the other Apeks first stages.

If you're interested in the above, let me know I might be able to do it cheaper than you can in OZ, well I know I can, just shipping might be the killer. Anyway, offers there.

Btw, I got a xtx40 octo set.

Plus import tax? I was stung on that ordering a camera housing from US, but it was still a little cheaper than buying here.

I was going to suggest ordering from the UK cos Apeks are A LOT cheaper here but, (even if import tax wouldn't be too bad for Oz?) I don't think shops can delivery outside of the EU. That may change after Brexit, whenever / if that happens.

In most cases I can get around both.

I have purchased 2 sets of Apeks regs from Fourth Element; they can put together a 50/50 XTX package for you.
The ONLY Specialist Apeks Site in the UK. In stock for fast despatch.

Since your followup is about the cost of regulators, I presume you are cost focused. Buy the best regulators since your life depends upon this piece of gear; save and sacrifice for an extra month or two more and you will have the best set of regulators for a decade or more. Save. Buy top quality. Maintain your gear. Dive with confidence.
