din or yoke?

love DIN. But.... if you travel to Carribean (or even Florida, in my experience), it's a pain in the arss. Since none of the rental tanks give you DIN valve connection. So, youwill need to use the Adapter.

I have DIN regs. I dive HP steel tanks. EXCEPT on vacation, where they are usually scarcer than the preverbial hens' teeth.

So rather than hassle with the adaptor I simply change the reg to yoke for vacations, and back to DIN when I get home. Because it's simply NOT worth the hassle and the [literal] headache to have the adaptor on the reg for a week or more. And it lightens up my SAD kit not to have to schelp it with me on vacation when every ounce counts in the luggage.
