Actually the practical reason why they don't make donuts to fir the 300 bar DINs is that very very few yokes are deep enough to fit over the extended length of the 300 bar DIN.

I had a 300 bar DIN with an adaptor donut (forget the maker) but none of my yoke regs fit over it.
