I have looked and searched, but has anyone heard or seen a non-computer combo'd digital LCD SPG? I am not looking to purchase one, but just curious if they exist.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Uwatec used to make one and I bought one marketed through Aqualung. It was very failure prone in cold water. After the battery was entering later life, the unit would think the battery level was fine on the surface before the dive and not give a low battery indication, but the mid 30's to low 40's temps at the bottom would kill it with the reult that the unit would stop displaying anything. And give that it was a real battery hog already, changing batteries was a frequent occurrence.

It did some cool things like figure gas time remaining, etc, had lots of cool factor and gadget appeal, but it really failed miserably at it's primary role of providing reliable pressure information.

An SPG should, before anything else, be reliable and electronic SPG's tend to over complicate what should be a very simple thing.

Thanks for the input on the subject all.
