In my DIR posture I would have to bring my arm through 181 degrees to get to that position. ;) ... as if :) I have gotten used to just rolling gradually to the side, hear the bubbles, then roll back. I find it quite esthetic ;)



DIR so you're one of those wienies are you? What's it like to be a sheep?
 
I prefer my computer on the inside of my left wrist, it is a heads up position, I'm looking to the surface anyway with my dump above my head, just makes sense to me.

Well - after comments like that, I guess it's better to be a sheep than a jackass. :eyebrow:

Two things - if you're DIR, your light isn't in your right hand anyway, because it will blind your dive buddy in an OOA emergency.

Secondly, it's a really simple issue to have wrist mounted gauges and a cuff-dump. The cuff dump is commonly situated about halfway between the elbow and the wrist, leaving plenty of room for a wrist mounted compass (on the left wrist.) The bottom timer/depth gauge is on the right, which doesn't usually have a cuff dump.
