I just don't log dives
I have two older G250s with the blue poppets and I have the 11.254.041kit to upgrade to the newer white s-wing poppet. I saw on eBay a newer balance chamber that goes with the s-wing with the same part # 11.150.102 with a -P at the end. I don't see this part anywhere on the schematics I have and was wondering when and why this part is became available?

fair assumption, you have the very short balanced chamber that might even be 2 parts
The blue poppet, like the 2 that followed (grey “ever lasting”, white 1st gen Wing) had only one oring for sealing (Ignore the extra orings — they are for sealing the metal stem that can be disassembled)

SP added later on an extra oring to act as a wiper to remove grit and sand that might get stuck and impede the poppet motion

This was accounted for by a longer “neck” in the balance chambers that followed; I know of only one — the “crown” looking black poppet

I doubt there’s any change in actual function (spring bias), beyond the “wiping” feature

They should all be cross compatible, barring the wiper oring function — I have successfully upgraded old 109s with the short balanced chamber to Swing poppet and there’s even some tiny clearance for the wiper to do its job, just not as well as the new balanced chamber

If you have a chance to get it, it’s better, but not absolutely necessary AFAIK

Poppet changes attached. The poppet with the double O-rings will generally function with the shorter balance chamber but the outer O-ring may be exposed thus defeating it's purpose.
