fair assumption, you have the very short balanced chamber that might even be 2 parts
The blue poppet, like the 2 that followed (grey “ever lasting”, white 1st gen Wing) had only one oring for sealing (Ignore the extra orings — they are for sealing the metal stem that can be disassembled)
SP added later on an extra oring to act as a wiper to remove grit and sand that might get stuck and impede the poppet motion
This was accounted for by a longer “neck” in the balance chambers that followed; I know of only one — the “crown” looking black poppet
I doubt there’s any change in actual function (spring bias), beyond the “wiping” feature
They should all be cross compatible, barring the wiper oring function — I have successfully upgraded old 109s with the short balanced chamber to Swing poppet and there’s even some tiny clearance for the wiper to do its job, just not as well as the new balanced chamber
If you have a chance to get it, it’s better, but not absolutely necessary AFAIK
