Sometimes having stuff that your bubbles dislodge raining down on you can be a good thing. A few weeks ago I was diving a wreck with a friend when we noticed stuff starting to fall down on us. Looking up we noticed that we'd inadvertently swam inside the wreck through an open hatchway. We were at 225 fsw and our plan didn't call for penetrating the wreck.

There's another difference. With wreck diving, the goal isn't always to penetrate. With cave diving it is ...

Cave Diver, great post!
Thanks!

Some of the things bubbles can dislodge do things other than blow the viz. Bubbles often dislodge Bristle Worms, something I never want to touch even with gloves or a wet suit.
:shocked2: Sounds like another good reason for me to stick to caves!

Yeah I've seen them before but I've never snuggled with one.... Sounds like they're not good house-pets.

Well, I did kinda start the poking ;)

Cool. And since we're on speaking terms......

If you have to look behind you to the left, won't your regulator be.... whispering sweet nothings in your ear?

Your config looks ok but aside from all the joking, I think your long hose may be too short. Also, on the first picture, the spg hose was pointing too far west but on the second it's ok.... So I guess you did that on purpose, like you did with your primary.... :)

One difference between cave and wreck's. You rarely find people doing this in a cave..
Why anyone would go to the trouble of pulling a toilet out of a wreck is a mystery to me.

I'm not sure it's so much that the hose is short, as it looks like there is nothing holding it flat against the right hip, causing it to "float" away from the body and pull some of the slack.

To each his own. I love wrecks, but caves give me the willies.

I'm with you on this Walter. I have no interest in diving in a place where a simple oops moment has such severe consequences. ;)

I just restowed it with too much of the slack behind the canister after goofing around. That's user error, not a gear problem :frown:

I'm not sure if you get discovery channel where you're at, but there's things that EAT PEOPLE in the ocean!

Then you're not with me in the wrecks either.
