Did the Apeks ATX200 ever come with red Lettering??

I apologize as I was unsure where to post this question .
Long story short, a buddy of mine is looking at purchasing
a used Apeks Atx200 first and second stage regulator from
a guy on Craigslist . He was asking for some advice, I have only
been diving for 6 months, thus I am here.
The pics of the second stage showed red lettering on
it. I know the atx200 is no longer carried in the US, only
europe but when I do a search, I have only found the similar
Silver lettering as on the Xtx200 model.
The seller claims it was bought in San Diego 5+ years back
but....... Just seems odd. Was the red lettering used on an earlier
model of the Atx200 or?? Of course, I have advised him to get it checked
out at his LDS but that is more than 30 miles away.
Just trying to reach out and get a little info.

Your picture is not showing. I have never seen red lettering on any Apeks regs. I suppose it is possible that they released a "special" edition but I don't think so. Easiest way to find out if you can't get an answer here is to email Apeks directly and ask them. Or go over to the Apeks forum in "manafacturers" forum and post there. Good luck.
