PG Dive's 4th Annual Underwater Pumpkin Carving Contest.

When: Sunday October 28 at 9:00 a.m.
Where: Hathaway's Pond, Hyannis Mass
What do you need to bring?: All of your dive gear, a pumpkin and a dive knife.
The rules: Divers can draw a design on their pumpkin and hollow it out prior to entering the water. All of the actual carving needs to be done underwater and with a dive knife. No other tools are allowed.

What do we get if we win?: Oceanic is donating a GEO Dive Computer to the diver with the best pumpkin a $429 value
Is there food?: Yes of course!
What if I'm a new diver?: The platform that we use to carve the pumpkins is in just 20FT of calm lake water, so the dive is pretty easy.

To sign up contact: Eamil Bobby or call the store at (617) 969-Dive

Last year's pumpkin dive was great, and this year should be better (more prizes, more dive clubs involved)

There's a recap of last year's event, complete with pictures at this thread

For anyone who hasn't been to Hathaway's, there more to see than just pumpkins. There's a rusted out (obviously) saab underwater and a cabin cruiser on the other side of the pond.
