=What is that gross-looking, whitish-yellow sponge stuff growing on every other rock? Too bad you couldn't eat that stuff, it was all over the place. Appears to be quite invasive.

with a wet-suit buddy. Should be interesting. If I can keep him alive until we get back to the dock, I'll be all set (fingers crossed). I'll post conditions when I get back.

Please let us know how your buddy handled it. I would like to get it one more dive (wet) before it gets too frigid.

Tomorrow looks great... warm(er) and nice seas... :eyebrow:
THU... W WINDS AROUND 5 KT...BECOMING S IN THE AFTERNOON. SEAS 1 TO 2 FT IN THE MORNING...THEN 1 FOOT OR LESS.

I'm taking the day off work to get in the water one last time perhaps! I'm going to try to meet up with STOGEY somewhere in Cape Ann. Anybody else want to join us... the more the merrier!

Where are you heading, decapod? Your going on you boat though, right?

in the Salem area. With low wind/waves, who knows where we'll end up. Might see you around Cape Ann.

What the heck happened to the nice, clean water I had a week ago? We had 5' vis at best making lobstering and scalloping difficult. I managed to get 4 bugs and about 3/4's gallon of scallops so it was a good day. My wetsuit buddy did really well. He did both dives with me (app. 60 min BT each). The lack of wind really helped topside in addition to my container of hot water to soak chilly feet and hands in. I was going to go again tomorrow but with the water as dirty as it is, I'll hold off.

B.T.W. I can't figure out what made the water so messy. We even had a little surge. Maybe an offshore storm?
