Offering 600 lumens and depth rated below 600 feet, the DGX 600 Handheld Light features a true out-the-front 600 system lumens (1100+ raw LED lumens) of cool white 6500°K light in a tight 8° beam. Twist the light head portion for ON/OFF activation with a triple O-ring seal. Using the supplied lithium-ion 18650 rechargeable battery, this compact light has a burn time of about one hour † at close to full brightness plus another hour of gradually declining but usable light. According to CREE, the DGX 600 has one of the highest performing single-die LEDs that is commercially available, the XLamp XM-L2 U2 LED, and is single-mode driven to prioritize light output over burn time. Although no substitute for a canister light, we are not exaggerating when we say this handheldlight throws more punch than many of the previous generation of canister primary lights in the water today. Considering the Dive Gear Express price, durability and light output the DGX 600 represents an excellent value!

Incorporating an optical quality glass lens with a triple o-ring seal between the head and body, the light is IP68 rated to { 656 ft | 200 m }. The switch design is twist ON/OFF at the head; unscrew the head completely from the body to load the battery. The tail has a sturdy rear tie-point for a bolt snap or use the included lanyard. The light has an electronic circuit to maintain constant light output as long as possible and provides reverse polarity & over temperature protection; meaning the DGX 600 can also be used as a dry flashlight on the surface. Use the TTI-1004 Generic Mounting Bracket (Small) for helmet mounting this light. The anodized aircraft aluminum body measures { 5.3 x 1.6 x 1.4 in | 135 x 40 x 35 mm } (length x head diameter x tube diameter) with
a dry weight of { 8.4 oz | 238 gm } including the battery.

The DGX 600 also includes a lithium-ion 18650 protected 3.7V battery and 110/220V 50/60Hz mains charger with US flat blade on the charger.

The DGX Soft Handmount is a premium quality ambidextrous soft 'goodman' style mount for handheld dive lights, allowing you to mount your light on the back of your hand(either left or right) and thus free your hand for other tasks. The soft design is much more comfortable than a traditional metal handmount and much easier to adapt to handheld lights as it uses a universal attachment method. A nice feature is a place to easily attach a small bolt snap, just like some divers prefer when stowing a metal goodman. The soft handmount is the perfect accessory for the DGX 600, DGX MAX, Dive Rite BX-1 and Light Monkey 2W handheld lights. Available in two sizes to fit most hands with or without gloves.
The DGX Soft Handmount is constructed not just from neoprene alone, but from soft and durable ballistic nylon fabric that is backed with neoprene. Also, wear points in the thumb opening are further padded with a additional layer of neoprene. The handmount has a clever palm strap with excellent comfort and is available in two different sizes. A second strap with a hook and loop closure and rubber gripping pads securely holds lights with a body up to {1.75 in | 4.5 cm} in diameter.
