From start of the year Brinyte have completely removed their dive lights from their website and I have information that part of them have emancipated under new name . Lather i have not checked it again.

For me is interesting for some quick mod (DIV03) because of housing.

For ammonite : great lights , ammonite one right size for backups , ammonite two just to big , but like more C battery size and lens , good quality .

Yeah, I like the look of the "One" but gave up after have a difficult time locating an English dealer/site. I live in Japan.

I ordered 2 DGX 600's as backups for my cave setup, hope to have them within the week. They seem to be great quality.

I use a digital balanced charger to manage my batteries, this has made a big differnce in battery longativity and performance. The charger also enables me to know exactly what the capacity is. All chargers charge the batteries way to quick and also dont discharge them properly, this is where things go south over time. My 4.5aH halcyon pack was thought to be done, after a couple of 0.3A cycles (30hour cycles) this 3 year old battery is back to 4.3aH, less than 6% loss. Fantastic!!!!!!

a name brand/model perhaps?

Mine is a V6AC. Many brands out there, all the same hardware/electronics just different branding. Visit your local hobby shop, the remote control guys eat and live batteries.

If you youtube balanced charger you will find a lot of info and a lot of junk. There are terms like "zapping" (high amp quick charge), this junk and will damage the chemical composition of the cell. Other battery type like lipo an be charged faster, not NiMH, NiCd

The nice thing is i now have a configurable charger that can maintain all battery types. Please readup on battery types before discharging, there are minimum voltage points.
