BUT....Ginnie Springs is about 45 minutes from the Grotto and the Den.

The temp at the Den stays pretty much the same. It is enclosed, so that will definately help with the surface temp. You'll have fun at the Den. It's a great beginner dive. Doesn't go below 40 ft. (but you'll probably stay at around 30 unless you explore one of the holes). Catfish come right up to you - perfect for a Cheez-wiz feeding frenzy! :D

Make sure you beam those divers with a stick in the head next time they're stirring up the bottom at the Grotto. There's plenty of room there and no excuse to be anywhere near the bottom :whack:

Good luck with your cert. My instructor teaches out of the Den too!
 
The Blue Grotto is a great dive. I've dove both the Blue Grotto and Devils Den and I liked BG better. They are both great dives and are only about a mile from each other. Have fun
