just dropping in to say hi. I am a newish diver. I have been certified for about 2 years now, but have under 10 dives still. I am looking to dive more now that I have my own equipment. I just bought a a bc, regs, and computer from scubatoys. All I have left to get now is a wetsuit, which I will be doing this winter, and a tank.

I'm located in ferndale. I'm trying to get my wife certified, but shes very hesitant. We were in the carribean in the beginning of august and did some snorkeling, which helped her some, but shes not quite there.

I am looking to get more experience, and would love to do some dives that can help me with my photography. I have an oly c-50zoom with oly pt-014 housing. I need to get an external strobe, but i need to get the rest of my essentials first.

anyways, just wanted to say hi, and hopefully meet some new dive buddies.

Metfoo,

Welcome to the board. It's a great source of information and fun. & the Great Lakes Wrecking Crew (GLWC) is a good place to look for local buddies. & given you are in Ferndale, you are near several members.

If you are intersted, check out the GLWC Meet & Greet II. It's being held September 25/26 has it's own thread in this forum.
