I'm wondering if anyone has experience pinpointing leaks on Ikelite housings. I have a cylinder style video housing and it has developed a small leak (about a tablespoon on most dives regardless of depth) somewhere. The housing itself was not designed specifically for my camera, but it does the job. Why do I mention that? Because there are many unused controls and I was thinking about somehow filling or plugging them to pinpoint the source. Does Ikelite offer a plug of some type to cover the control holes?
I'm also thinking about attaching small pieces of colored paper around each potential point of entry and looking for wet paper and/or colored water in the bottom. Thankfully it a slow leak and the camera is raised off the bottom of the housing.
I'd like to try and fix it myself, so aside from sending it back to Ikelite, any ideas?
