I'm going to try and get two dives in on Saturday so I'll be at the parking area around 1 pm. Anybody up for some salt water ---- where are you PHD?

I'll try to brave the heat and do a tank.

I am a maby. I hope I can make it.

SY - head further West, I think I may dive Navarre and P'Cola Beach in the morning and head to Orange Beach and Gulf Shores in the afternoon. Nate, Kira, you guys should come along too.

PHD,

I am soooooo ashamed that you have strayed so far from Bumdom.

SBM,

Travel will depend on lots of factors so it doesn't look too promising - I'll keep the option open as the week goes on. If I head West, I can bring the jeep if KCH needs a ride.

I just might take SBM up on the offer to head west. I've been wanting to do the Navarre Pier.

and you can spearfish there......

just check the weather, you want the winds from the north, otherwise it can make conditions not so pleasant

You still can't spearfish off the beach itself for a certain distance, it'd be difficult to convince officials that you really took the fish further out when you have to bring them back in from the beach.

Surf has been managable lately with south-west winds, but I'm still hoping for a calm flat day.

I'll be confirming plans shortly, I'll make a dedicated thread when that happens as to not leech on SY's thread.
