has anyone been to the jetties in the past couple of days? I plan on diving there for the first time tomorrow & don't want to mess up my equipment if there is oil.
 
Call the folks at ScubaTech. they'll give you an up to date report.

they take their boat (usually their smaller boat) there on snorkel trips and OW cert trips several times a week.
 
Thanks mike they were really nice & helped.

It was fun, tried to catch damsels. They are so fast. It was exciting.
