Well, between all the rain around here I got in a dive at the jetties today. The storms must have churned up the Gulf again because viz was 10' and particles were everywhere. There was a little June grass in the water as well. The good part of the dive was that I got to go with Gulf-Gulper and his son SeaSquirrel. This was SeaSquirrel's first dive since being certified. He did a pretty good job for such bad viz. The other good news is that the temperature at 30' was 76 degrees. I dove in a 2/1 shorty and was only a little chilled at the end of the dive. Attached are a couple of pictures of some locals having lunch courtesy of some lazy fishermen who dumped their leftovers near the jetties.
