superbeetleman, JLayman, and I went out to the Destin Jeddies to get a dive in before the big swirly thing heading our way gets to close. Conditions were great, there was some surf on the unprotected side of the jeddies, but we stayed on the North side of both jeddies during our two dives. Visibility ranged from 15-25' depending on your location and there quite a few fish swimming around. I spotted the resident sea turtle again, but it wasn't anywhere near close enough for the camera to get into view so again no pictures of it. I also saw a yellow tang, but camera problems prevented us from getting pictures of it as well(we ended up with 0 pics from the first dive and over 60 for the second). Josh Timmons manned the camera on this dive and here are the best of what he took http://www.suprbugman.com/gallery/album19 . There were several flounder, small snapper, decent grouper, pin fish, spades, doctorfish, cowfish, wrasse, damsels, blennies, small AJs, butterflyfish, stone crabs, a few jellies(no stings!) were some of what we say underneath the surface. There were a dozen or less divers and about the same amount of snorkelers, which is far less than a few months ago during the prime summer season. All in all, we had an excellent time and hopefully it'll hold us until we can get back into the water again.
