Hello All,

I am going to be in the Destin, Florida area at the end of April / Early May of 2016 on some business. I have been diving in Key Largo and Fort Lauderdale area before, but never on the North Coast or Panhandle. Is there any good diving in that area (i.e. within 1-2 hours drive, max)? In other words, is worth lugging all my gear in order to get in one or two days of dives?

Which dive operators in the area are recommended?

I have also heard of the North Florida caves, but I am not sure where they are in relation to Destin. Can you advise how far away they are and whether it is worth the trip? I have done the cenotes in Mexico and really enjoyed it.

Thanks for your help.

I've gone diving with Emerald Coast Scuba for almost 20 years. Highly recommend them.
