deselecting avatar subtitle

How do I deselect my avatar subtitle (solo diver)? I have gone into my user CP groups and it won't allow me to deselect. Even if I unsubscribe from the solo forum (for example) it bumps me up to registered user and "scubaboard enthusiast" comes up under my avatar.

You can checkout but you can NEVER leave.

If you're asking how to make it go away completely- You can't.

There are a set of default titles based on the number of posts you've made, special titles (such as your solo diver title) based on group membership or if you are a supporting member you can create a custom title.

Go into your user groups settings here: http://www.scubaboard.com/forums/profile.php?do=editusergroups

Scroll down to the bottom and you should be able to choose to be identified as a member of whatever groups you belong to. I believe that will revert you back to your "SB status" (veteran, junior member, etc.). Not sure if you can blank it entirely.

The "NO BADGE" group has no user title associated with it.

I went red and I'm still black. Or blue, or whatever the default color is.

Although I do have some additional profile options including custom profile description that I didn't have before I sent in the requiste funds.
