It does not seem to be helpful. Firstly it only pings you when you DO log on to the board and secondly I think it is important that people post because THEY want to post. You can't make this thing work - you can provide the best possible infrastructure (you do) and either it does work or it doesn't (it does).

Sometimes I get busy - I travel - I have other stuff on my mind - I'll be back when I'm ready. Getting 'encouraged' to post when I return certainly doesn't work for me.

Great board - let's drop the 'reminder' - I'll post when I have something to add.
