Well, I'm back. Some monkey just crashed my computer and I lost every single dive photo. :(
I was just trying to help, I thought you said DO hit the red button...
 I'm sorry to hear that Roy

... Here you go PHD ... try this one ...

:D

Don't worry phd, it wasn't really your fault. Someone painted a red button next to the real red button.

But seriously, yes I lost EVERYTHING. Cozumel, Vietnam, Fiji, Monterey/Carmel, Big Sur, and Scapa Flow. I still have the Channel Island trip though so I'll have to rebuild all of them.

I did that once and my IT geek here at the office managed to get most of it back. There are programs that can recover lost info.

I don't think its coming back Docc, the harddrive is smoked.

If the pics are important, there are people that can recover it from failed hard drives .. it's pricy though

One trick I've heard is to put it in a plastic bag in the freezer and then take it out, plug it in, and see what happens .. you may have only a short time to transfer the data to a good hard drive though

that's a lot of porn you lost!

Mike...speaking from experience...:shakehead:
