... I am hoping the C Pap will help but my first experience with it last night was awful. I didn't mind the positive airflow through my nostrils, but I feel confined with the machine. I get up and down all during the night, roam around, then go back to bed. (Apparently one of the signs you are not getting enough sleep and enough oxygen transfer at night). ...

You may need to try several different versions of masks and headgear. I went through several and have made a modification to one configuration that I use without much notice. The hose is always an issue because we're not used to being attached to something while sleeping. When you get a good night's sleep in by using the thing, you will love it even though it can be a little annoying.

That sucks majorly, Denise! :hugs:

What is the purpose of this devil's rig, again?

Do the docs think you're not getting enough O2 transfer?

Hey Denise,

Just read about what happened to ya, that majorly blows! Glad you made it out ok though!

Never heard of anything like this before now, really has me wondering...

God bless Denise and I'll pray for a quick recovery for you.

The 1st pulmonary doc wants me to try it but I haven't been back to see him yet after the sleep apnea tests so I don't really know the details. It is on a low setting, out of 4 to 20, he had the tech set it on 5. All the tech told me was that my oxygen level dropped while I slept during the sleep studies. I will post more after I get to talk to the doc and know more about it.
