We are thinking of returning to Bonaire this fall; the last time we visited was 3 years ago and we stayed at Den Laman. We had a great time and were very happy with the hotel and dive shop (except for the painfully long pre-dive orientation!). We prefer a small apartment or villa or kitchenette with full air conditioning and a reasonably sized-kitchen.
This year we are considering going back to Den Laman or trying out the Plaza Resort. The prices and offerings are very similar for both of them. I know that Den Laman is small and Plaza is big but other than that I don't know enough to compare them. Please share your recent experiences with either (or both) of these hotels and dive operations to help us make a decision. And if you can suggest another option; we'd be glad to hear about it!
