I can’t help it, I’m an over sharer
I think you’ll find many different answers, depending on who you ask. I’ve only dived on Bari, the house reef for Sand Dollar/Den Laman, and La Machaca, the house reef at Capt Don’s. La Machaca was nice, but I prefer Bari. We enjoy Bari so much that close to half of our dives are done there each year. Late afternoon/early evening is our favorite time to dive there, because it’s very lively. I heard people refer to it as the evening rush and all of the marine life are heading to where they need to go. So, Sand Dollar or Den Laman would fit your requirements. Plus, it’s easy to get to any of the other sites from there. What hotel/resort/condo has the best house reef? What is the best house reef? If I didn't want to drive around the island to different dive sites, where should I stay to have access to the best house reef? I generally would drive to one or two dive sites in the morning, do two dives, have lunch, and drive back to the resort where I am staying, and would do one or two dives at the resort in the late afternoon/early evening instead of driving out again. What do you recommend?
