I have one. It works fine, even at large tilt angles (which is why it is "pro" I guess). I haven't used the highly regarded Suunto SK7, but I suspect DGE's is similar enough to be a good value.

I use their tech compass which replaced my suunto that I lost... it works perfectly fine and is well made, no complaints at all. I imagine the deluxe would be the same since they look very similar.
