Kralendijk, Bonaire – (September 12, 2007) – Tourism Corporation Bonaire is pleased to announce that beginning February 9, 2008 Delta Air Lines, the world’s second largest airline, will launch a weekly non-stop flight from its Atlanta hub to/from Bonaire.

Delta Air Lines flight #371 will depart Hartsfield-Jackson Atlanta International Airport Saturdays at 10:00 a.m. arriving into Bonaire’s Flamingo International Airport at 3:10 p.m. The return flight #370 will depart Bonaire Saturdays at 4:15 p.m. arriving into Atlanta at 7:55 p.m. Delta will use a 150 seat, 737-800 Boeing aircraft with 16 first class seats and 134 economy seats for these flights.

To celebrate the new service, Delta is offering one-way special fares of $179 from Atlanta to Bonaire (based on a round-trip purchase) for purchase by Sept. 26, 2007, with travel completed by May 3, 2008. Additional taxes/fees/restrictions apply. Fare is available for purchase only on delta.com or from a travel agent.

wikel,

I just checked, 16-23 Feb 2008 directly on line at www.delta.com, and the ATL-BON flight comes up at $407.20 per person RT. $179.00 x 2 (each way is $358.00, plus taxes, etc) so the fare is still out there.

Good luck!

Ok Liz,

I looked pretty much all over their site and I can't find it. Where is it?

Just got my head screwed on right and found that it's too late. No need to answer unless you just want to humor me.

Posted on wrong thread...sorry!

The significance to me is that can use my Delta FFQ Miles to get to Bonaire. Delta miles can be redeemed on Continental and Northwest. I just booked trip in May (Manchester NH to BON via EWR red-eye) for only 35,000 miles with skysaver award.

Now if Delta and United would just merge! I'm a United mile ***** which isn't doing much for me.

Good to know about the flight, but the offer has expired. :(
