At least some. I had a ticket booked 12/4 to 12/11. A friend going on the trip checked prices for the flight today and it wouldn't let him.

I check my reservation and the ATL to BON and BON to ATL legs of my flight were changed to the prior Saturdays.

I received no notification of this, and they didn't change my LIT flights. It would have been fun trying to make a Saturday bonaire flight getting into ATL on Sunday. I'm a bit ticked about that.

They also jacked the price way up, but didn't charge me more. Now I have to hope that Bonaire Exclusief will let me change my reservation there.

I will never again fly Delta. When I went to Roatan they changed my flight (Roatan to Atlanta to Albany, NY - 7 hours and 20 minutes total) to add a leg to Detroit with a 10½ hour layover in Detroit from midnight to 10:30 the next morning. They also left my bag at Detroit. Delta sux.

That's annoying but don't make too many changes in your travel plans because the flights may change again.

Last year we booked flights on American to the Caymans several months in advance and then things started changing. Suddenly we were booked on different flights and we had a 6 hour layover instead of 2. But then it would change again; at one point we didn't have assigned seats on a flight and that made me very nervous. But as we got closer to the departure date things started to smooth out and our final itinerary was very similar to the original.

But at least AA notified us of the changes; did you sign up for email notifications from Delta?

You might just want to make a hotel reservation someplace nearby for one night. It would be good if you didn't have to use a deposit to hold the room and if you can cancel it easily without penalty. But you should ask Bonaire Exclusief for advice, they are probably used to this airline nonsense. Good luck!

I used to fly a lot for work, they all suck, often in just the same ways, with different names on the plane. I had a of Delta points, so this first class ticket was $68 and change. It was that, or $1120 for united.

Saturday to Saturday is what they pushed me to, so I'm pretty sure that's safe. We only chose sundays because it was cheaper points wise. I'm cool with it. I do get emails from them a lot, and got notifications last year on flight number changes. But always several days after Capital one notified me of the same change.

Darn! I was looking forward to an extra day/night next trip and the Saturday to Sunday was 15,000 less Delta miles. As someone else said they all sux in different ways. Delta is my carrier of choice though I do get really annoyed when they fly me from Philadelphia to Detroit to get to Pittsburgh. I'll muddle it through when it comes time to book. Maybe try the Continental direct from Newark.

At the risk of jinxing our upcoming flights, we have been very happy with the United ewr to bon flight. Easy travel day for us and we switched from amex delta card to visa united so the trip is on points.
