picked up a lightly used delta4/fdx10 sending in for service before use.anything to look at while sevice?is this ok for nitrox as is ? cold water ok thanks for info dirtydon

It's perfectly suitable for Nitrox and is an exceptional cold water reg. It's a very good product.

There was a recall last year on the high pressure seat: Oceanic Worldwide - Scuba and Snorkeling Gear, Scuba and Snorkeling Equipment and Dive Gear

I'd tell the technician that your not sure if the regulator was serviced since the recall. That way they can look to see if they need to do the retrofit to fix the problem.

It is fine for nitrox. Cold water is no problem. In fact NOAA just went to this regulator: http://www.scubaboard.com/forums/oceanic/225191-delta-4-new-cold-water-reg.html

This is a great regulator, and you'll be very happy with it.
