hi

i creating a canister light.

I have the choice between pom 111 and pom 211.

pom 211 is halft of the price of the 111. Both seem to have similar properties.

any suggestion?

Any commerciale light who use pom 211?

thanks

I don't know your material but you have to look on technical sheet ( not general from the net , but from producer itself )

I think big difference in price comes from (given that the two materials are very similar ) that more expensive it is reinforced with glass fibers and, therefore, also more resistant to impact and tougher .

I use myself delrin (ERTACETAL-C ) from Quadrant (Ertacetal® / Acetron® - Quadrant ) reinforced with glass fibers ( they

are visible when turning rod ) and it is copolymer acetal grade . Other name is also POM-C on same web site you have also machining parameters ,.....

I made two battery tanks and several lids for my experiments ( pic in my gallery)
