Hey People:

If you are doing whytcliff tomorrow and put in at the Cut.... would you be so kind as to keep your eyes open for an errant Mares MRS Weight pouch (9.9lbs load)??? the little bugger deserted me early on in my dive... jumped ship at 80ft or so... If I remember correctly.

After heading straight out and down the opening entrance channel, we headed to the right (north??) it ought to be somewhere near that beginning of the dive.

Be careful if you do spot the little cretin; he has a tendency to lie, cheat, and deceive in general. In particular he is known to click in affirmation of his desire to go diving only to skip out early... typically before the safety stop.

Unfortunately I have prior engagements this weekend which preclude a rescue/round-up/ retrieval mission... ANY assistance in bringing him to justice is greatly appreciated!!!

so did you shoot to the surface loosing that much weight?

10m?? bs

15' stop wasnt pretty but wasnt neglected either. the only popping i did was the last two feet when I let the little stone go see its new home

I remember on a charter in Tobermory I noticed a diver with -two- weight belts. After the second dive I broke down and asked him what was up with that. Apparently he had a few incidences in which he lost his weltbelt, so the second one was for redundancy. He was a big guy and obviously needed a lot of weight for his drysuit/weezle, but to this day I don't know if he was joking or not (he said it with a straight face).

i will say with a straight face: no I didn't shoot to the surface... I dawdled around at the bottom shopping for a stone to take with me

Ya it'll do fine... can you send me the bill though?? my hands are full and my wallet is inside my drysuit...

that is good tregrrr, I was worried that you might have popped to the surface. Yup, rocks are useful for something.
