Dick Birch of Small Hope Bay Lodge Bahamas completed 462 ft in the 60’s holding 2 car batteries wearing a nose clip, this is the only depth I know for sure
 
some of those numbers are crazy , I remember when brett Gilliam did a super deep dive on air , in his book he has a picture of the gear he used single tank (hydroed ) tenkna reg an a very worm crappy bc .. some really scary stuff
