Was hoping to pick up some detailed information on possible deep shore/wall dives located on either Superior or Michigan. Thanks in advance for any information. :)

..........

What do you consider deep? On TDS you asked about the Maderia, going around past the pilot house towards the stacks its easy to hit 110ft. Continuing on I have hit 140ft

Al.... thanks for the reply.... the Maderia sounds like a great dive spot whether from shore or boat! Both boat and shore dips are planned during my 2 week stay. :)

I enjoy shore diving allot as it is less expensive and its amazing what one can discover at the right sights.

Being that I am not real familiar with shore entry sites for these the huge bodies of water....I was hoping someone might offer a few locations that offers good shore entry wall diving....depth is not a big issue, that will be determined by the site and water conditions and advise of local divers.

In Lake Huron, Alpena offers Thunder Bay Island Wall to a depth of around 75ft. Middle Island sink hole has some spectacular walls to about the same depth. Rockport Springs has some nice ledges only to a depth of only about 20ft.

Post when you are going to be in the area. Many of us in the area have our own boats to dive from, I am sure we could hook you up with someone.

I know you can get up to 180 ft off of the ferry docks in Munising in Lake superior. Hope to try that this summer myself.

Where is the Madeira? Never heard of it before now?
