Has anyone used a Garmin MK3i to depths over 300 ft (around 90 m)? Interested in device behavior under extreme pressure—sensor accuracy, alarms, UI — actual dive logs appreciated. I’ve got one and I love it, but I haven’t found any first hand reviews from people taking it deep.

I know only of one person who does take a garmin to such depths, he’s not on the boards — Kiss instructor trainer Patrick Wiedmann
But it’s not his main dive computer, he uses it as his sports watch (skiing, running,…)
He almost exclusively dives CCR, and uses Shearwater for that — but since the Garmin can also dive he takes it along for dives

Wait, I think he uses the 2i not the 3i

Would live to hear from users more info nonetheless

A friend of mine regularly uses an MK3i between 80 and 100 meters as a backup computer on rebreather dives.
He is perfectly happy with it.
As am I with my Shearwater Teric.
