Possession point wall was today's dive was ascending down to 147' I want to get to the depth you can dive and have no deco, I did get some deco time in but very little as the safety stop covered it for the most part. There was enough light to see, but I put a l small dive light on the speargun and seen how it worked out. Lot of great video and pics as the rockfish and lings were great models along with the sole. I did not see the fish I wanted to spear so pics it was. The sole was big enough for a meal as you can see.

The dive was so cool to have 50' vis or better. The nudi was 10" or better its the purple one hanging on the wall. The video shows great at wide angle and pics are a bit off but doable. the spear in pics looks like a hunt on the rockfish, I have several pics with the school of them.

So maybe 140' bounce dive Might be max for no deco while also diving at 70' and up enjoying a dive after bounce.

Very nice warm day today as you can see, a barge was at this spot so no diving for awhile, so I did another dive here. As I got some depth I was in the shrimp range. I did more video than pics today. and then I took a pic when I got out. Todays dive was to 176' and was a tad dark the camera turned off so looks like I will not be taking it on much deeper dives. Personally I miss so much in a dive cause just taking pics. Just out being a spearo I see so much as I am always looking. As you can see in pics start to finish it was a quick bounce dive and very little deco.

This morning was a bit cold yet a great dive again, just about time for drysuit.

The sun was not out and it did not stop the vis, My dive was to 141' and got 60 min dive at 47 mins I had a little deco to hit, but after a 20' cruise along the wall I seen it go away and did safety in the shallows were the vis was not so good. When I popped my head out there was 2' seas banging to shore.

This was a great Video and longer than I wanted, And at this point I enjoyed the dive so I started on pics.

Todays Dive I went to 185' on twin 100's to check out gopro, worked fine I was amazed on vis and sun it was so clear, one diving duck at 96' and one at 74'.

I dove with pro plus 2 and while I spent time at depth on a multi dive by the time I got back to entry point I had 2 min @20' and 18 min @10'.

Diving ducks going to 90 feet? That's awesome. Get some pics of that next time and post them.

Hank on my sony I can get stills from vid, trying to do with gopro so I can post pics, just cant figure it out yet, soon I will though.

Think about this. Serving duck at your house and someone asks, "where'd you get this duck"?

And you reply, "I speared it at 90 foot depth". Awesome. haha.

Hank LOL!! I will look at hunting reg book and see if there is a season, for one it would be one hellof a shot they keep mooving, two it might be good and thee salt is already added.

Alrighty I took sd card to neighbor he is a teach here on the Island that teaches graphic atr and has a teacher at the high school that does video and will make a cd and hopefully give the insight on how I will go about editing and getting stills from gopro vid.
