There will be a ceremony, "The Dedication & Celebration of the Lofthus Shipwreck Underwater Archaeological Preserve" At Boynton Beach's Intracostal Park on Federal Highway, just south of Gateway Blvd. (I-95 to Gateway, East on Gateway, South on Federal Hwy, on left.)
Photos of the wreck and artifacts will be displayed at the dedication. Local divers and historians will be available to answer your questions as well as diving, fishing and boating in the local waters. Food and drinks will be available as well!
