Does anyone know if there is a trial version of DecoPlanner software? I do not see anything on gue's website. I would like to look at it before I spend $150.

Any particular reason for wanting DecoPlanner?
I've been using ideco for a while. Its gradient factors based and its free. Also V-Planner has a free trial version.

Just looking at different software before I buy. Layne showed me NAUI-GAP. I installed the trial version on my laptop last night and it crashes every time I try to view a report. Currently I have v-planner trial version installed. I haven't looked at ideco yet.

The new Ideco Pro version allows you to adjust the gradient factors. It's only $7.99. If you have an Iphone or Ipod touch its great.

So does the free version.
I have another gradient factors program on my laptop at home (cant remember the name,its clunky but it works,will look it up later)
Edit: This other program is MVPlan http://wittig.net.au/ Very much slanted towards rebreathers but can be made to work for OC.

I have an older version of decoplanner that I haven't looked at in years. It also won't run on Windows XP. At the time it was Buhlmann only, which is just about useless for my diving.
I have V-planner now and its ok - when I feel like I actually need software. The modern decoplanner has both buhlmann and VPM in it. So I suppose; if you really want to see Buhlmann output, and like the decoplanner interface better than V-planner it might be worth it. The decoplanner interface I have seen is very good, just not sure if its worth it for just that.
Although Ross provides free updates for life on V-planner and GUE doesn't do that.

Is the ideco just an app for your phone or do they have a site where I can download it to my laptop?
