Dr. Deco,
Could you please tell me how reliable the V-Planner and the Gue planner are?? These planners seem to have deeper stops (which I understand is much better) and the shallower stops they do not spend so much time at. With these dive planners the divers are getting out of the water quicker.

Vplanner is based on VPM which is a bubble based model.. I haven't used it that much yet(I was using GAP), but I haven't had any problems either (the only problems I have heard at all seem to involve CCR divers which since its a bubble model requires closely adhearing to planned ascents).. Vplanner's author recommends using at least the +2 setting...

The gue planner generates profiles that are similiar to other buhlman based programs with gradient factors.

Thanks for the reply. I will check out the discussion group and see what I can learn. When I see these guys getting out of the water much sooner makes we wonder. However if it works it works.
