I recently purchased the deco sidemount harness and it came with a little triangular piece of metal. It was in the bag with the bungee so it may have something to do with setting up a loop system. However, the included bungee doesn’t fit through the hole in the metal. Attached photo shows a smaller diameter bungee in the hole. Can anyone explain what the metal piece is used for? Thanks!

@Tim Clark Diving - how long did it take for you to receive your DECO order? I see you are in Guam, so will be different for me, but I'm curious about how long they took to ship your order. I placed an order a week ago. I immediately received an order confirmation, but nothing else since then. I emailed a few days ago, asking about my order status and radio silence... I'm looking forward to trying their rig.

I'm not the OP, but I ordered one (to Palau) in late-January this year, heard nothing for several weeks so I emailed them in mid-February to check on the order status. They didn't respond to the email, but it arrived about 10 days later. Hope that helps.

On the plus side, their equipment is much better than their communication.

It took about two weeks to arrive in Guam. That is pretty standard for ordering things from off island. However, I’m not sure where they are located. Company website doesn’t have an address. Could take longer for you if they are overseas. I ordered both a harness and Sidemount wing and have been happy with both. It’s a nice, minimalist design. It took a couple of dives for me to tweak it till I liked it but wasn't too hard to figure out.

Hi nic2750. Yes, the quality and unique design looks great. I can’t wait to get it. Thanks for your note.

That’s great to hear. I appreciate your reply.
