December Honeymoon

I am looking for some advice on somewhere incredible to go on our Honeymoon in December of this year. Qualifications:

Tropical- palms trees rather than desert
Not the Western Carribean
Very romantic!
Not a cruise
Great scuba diving!!!

We both have advanced certification and want to see some great stuff. What would be your suggestion if we can only go for around a week and want it to be the best trip of our life?

Check out Anse Chastanet on St. Lucia. The diving is above average for the Caribbean and it meets your other criteria. If its all about the diving and nothing else then I would recommend Little Cayman.

wow- looks amazing!! St. Lucia looks good so far- thanks for the help! Have you been to that resort before or heard anything about it (it looks wonderful!)

Anse Chastanet is gorgeous. Set near the Pitons (one of the most beautiful vistas in the Caribbean), it is incredibly romantic with the advantage of some terrific diving close by. As with all St. Lucia dive ops, they're fairly restrictive (all dives are led, check outs, etc.) but makes for a wonderful honeymoon.

The Sandals on the island are also excellent, but I don't recommend their dive ops.
